Night Splash Session

Splash around under the stars!

30 min
40 US dollars
Tater Road

Service Description

Get 30 minutes of quality time on the DSU dock after the sun goes down! Why limit your pool time to just daylight hours. The fun doesn't have to stop when the sun goes down. Bring you dogs out to the pool and try something special. The dock is lit up like a holiday deck party and the pool is aglow with lights. Add some tunes and wet dogs and it's an experience you'll always remember. Crates can be used on the dock when handling more than one dog. More than one handler may be on the dock to work with the dogs, but no more than 2 dogs can be registered for each session. Observers are permitted on the dock as long as the client briefs them on the proper protocols to follow while using the facility, however, they may not bring dogs onto the dock. Clients are responsible for arriving early enough to be ready to go when it's their time to use the pool. It is always advisable to walk your dog after you arrive so it can do its business prior to going onto the dock. Dogs are not permitted to relieve themselves within 20 feet of the dock or pool. There may not always be someone from DSU to sign in clients when they arrive for their session. Once you've been checked out by DSU, we'll trust you can get on and off the dock without assistance. Be conscious of the time and know when your session ends. Be sure to have a time piece of some sort (phone for most of us). When your time is up, you'll need to make room for the next lucky pups. There will always be a 15 minute buffer between sessions. Please be considerate of others and do your best to have all your dogs and belongings off the deck within that time frame. If you are booking a Splash session for the first time at DSU, be sure to indicate that on the booking form. We will need to be there so we can go over the pool rules with you and answer any questions you may have. This briefing will take approximately 10 - 15 minutes and it will come out of your session's time. Dogs may wear collars in the pool, but they should not have any sharp edges on them. We recommend life vests for newbies. Wear dock friendly footwear; the pool ramp is fairly steep and can be slippery when wet. Be sure you bring a waterproof bag so you can keep your important items dry. Speaking of dry, don't forget the towels! Be sure to read the Pool Rental Policy when booking your session. Splash sessions are available on a limited basis. Check the booking calendar for upcoming dates and times.
