Fast CAT Training Camp

Service Description

For a lot of our Fast CAT dogs, the sport has become a key part of the their exercise regimen. Regular runs keep the heart healthy, muscles toned, and their prey drive sharp. Our camps are also a great way to keep those extra pounds from finding their way onto our pampered pooches. The Training Camps are held for dogs that have experience on the Fast CAT track. The camps are designed to provide an opportunity for dogs to come out and maintain their proficiency and hopefully improve their performance over time. Depending on the number of dogs attending the Camp and the rest period given between runs, your dog should get three or more runs down the track. If your dog has never been on a Fast CAT track, you will need to attend a Fast CAT "Newbie" Camp or do a Fun Run at one of our AKC events before you can sign up for this camp. We do our best to have catchers/releasers for those that need a hand, but you may have to wait a little longer for those services. Don't forget to bring two leashes! (ATTENTION: All Fast CAT Training Camps in August will run from 7:00 - 10:00 PM due to the hot temperatures.) NOTE: Classes are limited to 40 dogs per session. The maximum number of dogs per session a single owner can enter is 3. When filling out the camp registration form use All American if you have a mixed breed dog. When filling out the camp registration form use the following guide for your dog's size: Below 12” = "S" 12” up to less than 18” = "M" 18" or greater = "L" Payment due at check-in (cash or credit card).
