Service Description

Our Introduction to Fast CAT Camp is designed for people that have never participated in the sport or are looking for a good refresher. The classes are two hours long, starting off with a thirty minute class at the beginning. The class covers the rules of the sport as well as the procedures used during the events. Our instructor will go over everything you need to know. We want you to be safe and confident when you get out there on the track, whether you're releasing the dog or catching it. At the conclusion of your instructor's class, everyone and their dogs will head to the track. We introduce the bunnies to the dogs to pique their interest and then our crew will walk you through the process involved for getting "on the board" and onto the track. Everyone wants to see the dogs do well so there's no hurrying up and rushing things. We'll work with the dogs in the best manner possible to get them chasing those ever elusive "bunnies". Plan on getting to the facility early enough to allow time for check-in. We suggest arriving 15 - 30 minutes early so you're seated and ready when the class starts. Make "Tally-Ho" a part of your dog's vocabulary. They'll love you forever! (ATTENTION: Before entering our Fast CAT Training Camp, this Camp is required for all owners that have not previously run in a Fast CAT event or attended one of our Fast CAT Camps.) NOTE: Classes are limited to 20 dogs per session. The maximum number of dogs per session a single owner can enter is 3. When filling out the camp registration form use All American if you have a mixed breed dog. When filling out the camp registration form use the following guide for your dog's size: Below 12” = "S" 12” up to less than 18” = "M" 18" or greater = "L"
