Service Description
Beginner Dock Diving – Follow-Up Pool Lesson (30 min – Sessions 2, 3, or 4) Continue your dock diving journey with this 30-minute follow-up pool lesson, designed for dogs and handlers who have already completed the required 45-minute Introductory Lesson (Lesson 1). This individual booking provides access to the pool for one 30-minute practice slot, where you can work on building confidence, refining technique, and enjoying more jumps in a safe, supportive environment. Instruction and coaching are provided separately by Marilynn Guard and paid directly to her (not through Dog Sports Unlimited). Marilynn is available on Thursday and Fridays between 10am and 4pm. She is also available on select weekends. Check with Marilynn for extra availability. The instructor rate is $25 per lesson. Payment will be due at the time of the lesson. To complete the full beginner course (four sessions total), you will need to purchase and book three of these 30-minute follow-up lessons after finishing the intro lesson (Lesson 1). Each follow-up is booked separately, giving you the flexibility to choose dates that fit your schedule—perfect if you're unsure about availability or want to space out lessons based on your dog's progress or other commitments. Cancellation Policy
Beginner Dock Diving – Follow-Up Pool Session (30 min – Sessions 2, 3, or 4) Booking Policy This policy applies to each individual 30-minute follow-up pool session purchased separately. These sessions provide pool access only—pay instructor Marilynn Guard directly for coaching. Purpose: Build on the completed Introductory Session (Session 1) with focused practice on technique, confidence, and jumps in a safe setting. Scheduling: Requires prior completion of the 45-minute Introductory Session. To finish the four-session course, book and purchase three of these 30-minute sessions individually. Flexible per-session booking lets you choose dates based on your availability—no upfront commitment to all remaining sessions. Availability: Thursdays & Fridays, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. 15-minute buffer between bookings for setup/cleanup. Limited to 2 dogs per session. Cancellation & Rescheduling: 48-hour notice required for full refund or reschedule (notify DSU and Marilynn). Less than 48 hours or no-show: non-refundable forfeiture. Weather/facility issues: reschedule at no penalty. Payment Full pool fee due at booking; non-refundable except per cancellation rules or uncontrollable issues. Instructor fees paid directly to Marilynn. General: Dogs must be in good health. No food or treats on dock. Follow safety rules; non-compliance may end session without refund. Non-transferable.
