Inaugural Night FCAT Event Nears

Just two and a half weeks until the big event!

Our first ever sanctioned FCAT event also happens to be the first FCAT event in Central Florida to be held under the stars. Right here at the recently completed track at DSU. It seems only appropriate. Our track is no normal track. It wasn't constructed in a few hours. It took months to build this one. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into it. All that time and effort paid off because it's a thing of beauty to behold - at least in the eyes of FCAT fanatics!

The fun doesn't end when the sun goes down. The fully lit track keeps the action going as late as the dogs want to run. It's the only way to do it here in Central Florida; at least if you want to run dogs between May and October. Besides being safer for the dogs, it also is just plain cool to watch the dogs under the lights. It makes for great viewing.

I hope everyone will have a good time at the event. We've got a food truck coming out that will be selling churros and ice cream. We thought it would be nice to have a sweet treat available for all the folks that come out to run their dogs. Maybe one or two lucky dogs might get a treat as well. We do tend to spoil our little friends.

We're very much looking forward to seeing everyone on July 6th. Let's make this the first of many fun-filled nights at Dog Sports Unlimited.

Cheers!
