About the Event

The Pals & Paws Dog Agility Club of North Florida are hosting these trials at Dog Sports Unlimited in New Smyrna Beach. These are their first Fast CAT events so come on out and help make them a big success.

The event numbers are:

The event times are from 8 AM - 2 PM both days.

Advance registration tickets can be bought up to 48 hours prior to the event date.

ATTENTION: Tickets can always be purchased at the events - even when online tickets are sold out.

Tickets for these events can be purchased in advance through this website or you can fill out the form found on the last page of the premium and mail it to the address indicated on the cover of the premium.

Fast CAT is a two person operation. You need one person to catch and one person to release. If you are all by yourself, let us know when you check in. If we have an available volunteer, we can help you out. We don't always have extra people so please try to have a buddy, but we will help if able.

Since this is an AKC event, all rules governing the trials are in effect. No dogs are permitted to have prong collars, choke collars, or electronic collars on the track our on the grounds where the trial is being held. We ask that you follow these rules and make sure your dog is not wearing one of these three types of collars. If you have a dog that is difficult to handle on a flat collar or harness, our staff can show you tricks on how to use a flat collar and leash more effectively for dogs with high energy.

Also keep in mind that each dog must be inspected prior to every run it makes. AKC rules require an inspection prior to each run. We have to make sure the dog is not injured or in heat. If you should ever notice that your dog is limping or showing signs of distress, you should not run them. In these cases you will get a full refund. We don't want any dogs getting hurt so let's play it safe.

We will be accepting advance registration via the website up until February 1st. The fee is $25 per run.

If you register a dog online, you can register for multiple events at the same time without having to fill out the dog's information more than once. We're trying to save trees and make your life easier at the same time! Here's how it works:

  1. Buy the appropriate number of tickets based on the number of events you will be entering your dog for.
  2. Click the "Checkout" button.
  3. Enter all the required information for the dog being entered.
  4. Make sure the number of events entered matches the number of tickets you bought.
  5. Click "Get Tickets"
  6. You will need to enter your payment information to complete the sale.

You will repeat this Process for each dog you enter in events. Bring all your tickets for proof of purchase. Please be sure to read the entire premium. There's a lot of important information in it. Here's the Premium. Hope to see you at the track!

All dogs entering events will need an AKC number (PAL/ILP or Canine Partner). If your dog does not have a number, you can visit one of the following AKC websites:Canine Partner (mixed-breed) (purebred)

Here's the Premium.
