January 2021 Fast CAT
Fast CAT hosted by Obedience Club Of Daytona 1/22/21 - 1/24/21
We had three days of Fast CAT fun at the Silver Sands Bridle Club in New Smyrna Beach thanks to the Obedience Club of Daytona. The events were held in conjunction with their annual Agility Trials.

Despite rainy weather forecasts for Saturday and Sunday, we somehow managed to avoid almost all of the rain that passed through the area. The track was in great shape and the dogs had ideal running conditions.

We had everything from Pekingese to Greyhounds hunting the bunnies. Luckily the Pekes don't have to hunt rabbits for dinner. Obviously, they were designed for loftier pursuits! Greyhounds on the other hand must be the thing of nightmares for rabbits everywhere around the world.

Of course, most of our four legged friends fall somewhere in between those two ends of the spectrum. It's great to see the variety of dogs that show up for these events. It makes us happy to see such a unique gathering of dogs coming together to participate in a sport. Fast CAT is truly unique in that aspect.
