Fast CAT Camp

Fast CAT Training and Practice Sessions

  • 20 US dollars
  • Tater Road

Service Description

Our Fast CAT Camps are designed to accommodate all dogs from novices to veterans. The level of assistance we render is up to the level of the dog. Many people that come out are running their dog for the first time. We work with those individuals one-on-one as we walk them through all the steps involved in running in a Fast CAT event. First timers should arrive no later than 5:45 PM so they can get registered and be in attendance at the Fast CAT class that starts at 6:00 PM. We ask everyone that is new to the sport of Fast CAT to attend this 15 minute class. We'll go over the basics with you so you know what to do when your time comes to run your dog. (ATTENTION: All Fast CAT camps in August will run from 7 - 10:00 PM due to the hot temperatures.) For those that have run Fast CATs before, we'll help out when asked. Otherwise, get out there and have at it! Practice makes perfect and the dogs love it. These camps are a great way to keep your dog proficient and in top form. Of course, some dogs come out strictly for the fun and exercise aspect. Whether they ever run in an AKC trial or not doesn't matter to them. All they know is it's great fun! Whatever your reason for coming out, all dogs are welcome. NOTE: Classes are limited to 40 dogs per session. The maximum number of dogs per session a single owner can enter is 3. When filling out the camp registration form use All American if you have a mixed breed dog. When filling out the camp registration form use the following guide for your dog's size: Below 12” = "S" 12” up to less than 18” = "M" 18" or greater = "L" Payment due at check-in (cash or credit card).
